#41
Yea I'm waiting for 800 bucks for a 350 I'm selling out of my 88 mc ls. Now I'm debating wheter I should sell the car also. I iinitially planed on doing an lt1 swap with it . Only 2 major things left on my imp. The fuel system and tranny.
The 42lb green ford injectors are on sale for 210 new. Any one with any experience with them?

Well heres a before video. Just remembered to get it before dropped off the car at the shop. Saved lots of money on the exhaust thanks to this forum. yea that air pump is rather annoying tho.
SHould have an after video of the le2 355 motor put in late this week or beginning of next week.
Yea the car is hella dirty, but hey the weather up here is screwed right now.

Lol not a big techie, but how do i turn it down? seems like since i threw the tune on there it made it idle abit higher.
Also, when i shift out of park to drive the rpms bog down and up for a couple sec's then idles at around 850, same goes for when coming to a stop also.?

To me there's two ways to look at this as I'm in the same boat now as well I have a spare LT1 which I want to build a 383 with ported heads, 847 cam,1.6 rr's, Comp roller lifters, csi ewp, etc now if I spend the money now on a Scat 4340 forged crank, 6" pro comp rods and Manley or Mahle forged pistons and build a stout bottom end first and port the stock heads and intake myself I should get decent performance for now then when I have the money get Ai or LE heads. For me it's easier to swap out heads and cam then have to go back into the shortblock later to build a stroker, because if you take a 355 and 383 both with a h/c setup the 383 will make more hp/tq then the 355.
