Default Ebay Valve covers w/Alt Clearance (pics high res)

Picked them up for 100$ after shipping because I kinda wanted some new valve covers and don't wanna cut up my stock ones for 1.6RR's. I think the quality is pretty good. Just thought I'd share with you fellas.

Would they clear promags or would you need to cut the supports like you do on the stockers?

I bought the same ones a month ago and I have them installed with Crane 1.6 Gold RR and there is not any issues with clearance etc. I installed using stock gaskets and they went on just fine... Only wish I could find a better looking oil fil cap as they don't come with one and you just reuse the black plastic one

I'm running the same ones. Bought mine last year for about $15 less then you did but either way they are at a good price and nice quality. I Did have fitment issues with mine running the Comp Pro 1.6 S/A. Ground down the support webbing a little less then a 1/2 inch and they fit like a glove.

I have the same ones with my Crane Gold 1.6s. They fit great - no problems whatsoever.

I think he was asking if they dampened the sound of the promags when you switched from the stock covers. As the lt4 composite covers do.

See if this 97pontta will make you a custom one He made some VERRRY nice stock-style ones (long filler neck) but I bet he'd be able to make you just a cap. Here's the thread with the ones he made. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...-lt1-guys.html

EDIT: Maybe something like this but with the Cam emblem instead of the Bird, on the cap.

I've had these valve covers for a few years now. They do fit well and look great. They don't quieten down the rockers much more than stock covers though.

I had my car in storage for a little while and mice got into the engine bay and now the covers are all stained up looking. I'm going to pull em off and see if I can polish them back up. Hopefully I can.

Those are very nice for the price. It beats paying the epic bend over and take it on the Canton valve covers.
