AFAIK, the purpose of installing the LT4 knock module is that it is less sensitive and more likely not to give you false knock retard.

The LT4 rockers have a distinctive noise. The LT1 style module sees this noise as detonation. The price on ebay is high. Although getting long in the tooth, here's a link that might help. http://www.fbody.com/tech/details.cgi?id=10

There is no such thing as an LT4 knock sensor. Module? Yes. Sensor? No.

This is a common misconception that has been floating around for YEARS.

Which is the same as a knock sensor for a 1996 LT1 Camaro.
