Default Anybody have this true duals set up?

Its from lt1engine.com i was gonna have a shop fab and install this for me because I don't have a welder but i was wondering if anyone has it yet. Any complaints? Do you recomend? Im going to use dynomax bullets instead of these mufflers. Will the exhuast fit decently? any clips or pics(any muffler clip is ok)?

I gotta find a guy willing to do it too. They keep saying they can't touch the cats but I know of at least 3 ppl who have had them fabbed by a shop. Called them and nope. guess you gotta know ppl...

Looks good, wonder how it sounds with the flowmasters. I personally would rather see a magnaflow or dynomax bullet under there. Very tempting to build this, is 2.5 true duals good enough for a stock motor with bolt ons?

this doesnt really have to do with the duals, but as far as getting a shop to remove your cats you need to go in and actually talk to some one. then it is going to be a cash only no receipt kind of deal. good luck.,

They're not going to talk about that over the phone. It's illegal for them to do it, and they don't know who's calling them. It could be a fed trying to bust them for all they know.

Go in there and talk to them.

Looks pretty cool man, I hope you have some luck around here!
Are you looking to run the flowmasters? I have a set of the 3inch single chambers that I was going to use but never did if your interested.
Anyway it looks like a nice setup, I thought you were going to do it yourself?

well, the headers and !Emmissions crap will be done by me but I don't have a welder to fab the pipes all up so i have to go to a shop to fab the actuall exhuast.

Im going to be running 2.5" so im not sure if I can use the single chambers u got....

AChotrod: yeah, man. thats how I want my car to sound. Very nice!

Edit: As far as finding a shop...Im just gonna go down there before i take everything out. let em know what Im doing and drive it up with open headers cuz i agree thats defenitly going to be my best bet.

I like the way my 3 inch X pipe dual 3 inch flowmaster single chamber sounds. Click my sig link and you can hear it.

2 inch system probly give you better ground clearance. On my 3inch system I haven't had any issue with ground clearance only on big speed bumps it scrapes a little.

In general if you drive it in illegal (open headers)it can leave illegal so long as they are told it is a race only application. I have heard from some folks in ultra conservative areas having to have the car towed in and towed out to get an install like that done.

here in TN it is illegal for them to remove the cats but not illegal for them to repair where the cats have been removed from the car. I went and talked to a guy here and he said sure, we'll put these cats on the rack just in case someone shows up and we HAVE to put them on

LOL, yeah ur welcome haha... theres a lil reputable shop around here that will do em for 700 bucks but i decided to do a little bargain shopping and I found that setup.

Didn't have time to talk to a shop today but ima do that as soon as I go into town again.

If all else fails im just gonna borrow a welder and fab it up myself...hopefully I don't kill those fuel lines on the test drive...haha...

i built my duals myself pretty dam cheap. I haven't had a chance to get rid of the popping when it gets hot (currently deployed). It resonates a little inside but i havent finished. Im going to take it out the sides before the tires. here is the video
