Yea, I know that last time I did that I didn't get to the real car until 2 years later! Oh well I can just do small things here and there, I think a new rear, LS1 brakes, and BMR stuff is prolly gonna be first. Then I can think about putting some more power down.

I did the rear first! The only bad thing with your budget the heads and cam would eat up close to $2000 and over with a tune and thats with you installing the parts. The rear is a good $2000 and the suspension parts will add up quick. Keep an eye on the forsale forums for used stuff you could save a good bit for other parts!

Well I would like to keep some miles off of it, it needs a new rear pretty badly b/c I've launched it hard more than a few times and it's screaming at me now. I might pick up a beater for like a grand, get a new rear, pick up some suspension stuff (k-member, a-arms, tq arm, etc...), then save for an LE3x383 combo.
Your all over the place, change the rear end since its giving you problems already

but my clutch is not gonna hold up to it.

I had a good clutch and it only lasted me a year. At my current power level I'm ok for another 2 years on the one I have, I'm just waiting for some more things to come along before I go redoing the clutch for the 3rd time.
