Compared to what LE or AI offers, not even close to being worth it.

I asked the same ? about a week ago. I also got the same response. And I think you should check it out. elliottsportworks.com or advancedinduction.com I learned that the LT4 conversion doesn't make that kind of power unless you do more to it.

x2. That overpriced kit will highly disapoint you when you line up to another LT1 running a Lloyd Elliott or Advanced Induction package. Instead of putting those numbers out at the crank you can be putting them out at the wheels.

Oh man, Edelbrock almost got another sucker. Not that I don't like their products, but this package is way too overpriced for the performance gains. Good thing he was smart enough to ask here first.

Sure it's a decent possibility of making that, but it's going to be from the flywheel and around 345hp/331tq behind a M6 or 304hp/292tq behind an A4

do it right and you can get that with out heads and cam.
you can almost touch it with free mods and bolt ons

Scary how much drive train loss is huh? I'd still think that Edel H/C/I would make more than that to the road, considering JUST Speed Inc's Cadillac Cam did 315hp, I mean granted it did have a CAI and I believe cat-back, but that was w/o a tune! I'm pretty sure you can easily make that with free mods, bolt ons and a tune.

The ad says it in the first line why these would not be a good deal:

The Edelbrock Total Power Package is a concept that we pioneered in the 1980s

The LT1 wasn't even out in the 80's....lol.

lol Silly goof. It says "Edelbrock Total Power Package", not "Edelbrock LT1 Total Power Package" Think of it like the Firebird, it's been around since the 60s, but the LT1 version (not LT-1) has only been around since 93

I was just laughing, saying it is 1980's technology used in the 92-97 LT1 motors...I really do not like Edelbrock products due to their expensiveness and not alot of horsepower gains.

Edit: I would like to say you are wrong, just to get a chance for my username to be in somebody's sig....j/k, too many people on this board know nothing, and talk big.
