off the wall LT1 ???
has anyone tried carbing and running there LT1 on methanol? just a thought a circle track guy put in my head a while back about trying to make more power with my LT1. the engine isn't in a car right now and its a project that may turn into a drag only motor.

power isn't the issue, i can make power by just using boost or N2O, its more or less of how the power is made. if i would do this it would stay N/A thats why i'm asking. the motor when put together should make somewhere around 600 at the flywheel on pump gas, but that is with a SR street cam. with a dedicated drag cam i would like to see 700 flywheel in N/A form. its already max c.i.d. with 410.

I really don't know what the Dyno numbers are on this setup. The Gas setup with the same motor, heads and cam made right at 400 to the wheels.
This I do know that I picked up almost .3 in the 1/4 and almost 3 Mph.
I picked up more torque then anything else, the 60's went from low 1.6's to an average 1.55. Once I put a different rear gear in this it should pick up some more.

Methanol is awesome!!! I dont run it in the car but I run it in my bikes and love it.
Crank up the compression on your build and don't look back.
I wouldn't run it on a street car, but a track only, it's the only way to go. Runs cool, super hard to detonate, makes more power. Neat stuff
