MPG question..
... is this normal??? cause i dont think so.... and if i do change my plugs and wires what kinda change should i see if any? Also what plugs and wires should i go with. please chime in guys..Thanks in advance!!!!

Regardless of what mpg you get, at that mileage, it's wise for you go swap in new plugs, wires, and a coil. I'd even throw in a new opti, but that's just me.
Also swap in some new o2 sensors, clean your MAF, change your fuel filter, change/clean your air filter. That should help give you some better mpg's.
the cost of that would totally offset the money you'd be saving from getting better gas milage. lol do you know how long it'd take you to save 500 dollars worth of gas?
i mean, if you plan on keeping the car for YEARS - then yeah, do it. but i think it's safe to say that gas will hit 5$ a gallon by next year, and nobody will be holding on to their LT1s.

NGK TR55 plugs - they are like 1.99 a piece
MSD 8.5mm wires - maybe a 100 bucks for the set? don't remember

how much of a difference do new plugs make? I'm not sure how old mine are...

You can get TR55's at Autozone for ~2 bucks a piece.
my wires are red, so im assuming they've been replaced at one point. i'm at 90k miles
