duals or y w/ a bullet which has most power?
Ok i know this question has been asked a million times, but due to the new search not finding my answer, i'll ask it again. Which exhaust setup makes the most power, a off road y with a bullet or true duals? Sound does not concern me. I want the most power.

In that case the X-Pipe will definetly be better. 2.5" or 3" TD's are a nice step up from a 3" Y-Pipe.
I'm no exhaust expert but I have always heard that the X scavenges really well and acts as a vacuum so to speak by pulling the exhaust out of the cylinders better than a Y or H.

if your running a supercharger per say.....which i am, the more air your forcing into the engine, the easier you want it to come out of the exhaust. I.E......better flowing heads and larger free flowing exahust

The most common question is 2.5″ or 3″ true duals, and here is your answer.
A 2.75” (stock) single system is good for a 310hp engine with zero loss…
A 3” Single system is good for a 370hp engine with zero loss…
A 3.5” Single system is good for a 503hp engine with zero loss…
A 4” Single system is good for a 657hp engine with zero loss…
A 2.25” dual system is good for a 457hp engine with zero loss…
A 2.5” dual system is good for a 513hp engine with zero loss…
A 3” dual system is good for a 812hp engine with zero loss…

for a heads/cam car 2.5" would be my choice, it will support the mods, have more liveable volume, better tone (IMO), cost loss, and have better clearance.
