Default AI Cam'd 95 LT1 Video

Well as most of you know this past winter i did a little cam swap after i blew out a head gasket in the camaro, things snowballed a little bit and went from a simple head gasket fix to a cam swap along with alot of other things, only about a $4000 head gasket fix hahah...

well here is a little video i took yesterday with a crappy camera, if the rain clears up tomorrow i'll get it out again and try to use a better camera for a better video but you guys get the idea...

Set up is AI's 226/234 Cam with PS long tubes, no cats and hooker cat-back. Compression is around 11:1-11.5:1 (heads milled and .026 gaskets) Tuning was done by ION from madtuner at Speed Inc

What do you guys think...

Drive preety hard, i can feel i have something in my rear end or drive shaft related that just doesn't feel right that i gotta get figured out, but it pulls preety hard from what i've gotten on it the little bit. I have a stating issue also that i need to get figured out. if i let the car sit for a while it will hard stat, to me it seems like a spark or fuel issue because the starter will crank the motor over like its supposed too it just with crank and crank for a few seconds then fire up. But yet if i drive it, shut the car off, then start right after that it will start right up... Any suggestions? I dont want to kill my brand new powermaster starter...

Sounds like either an injector leaking down or fuel pump on the way out.
Get a guage and check your fuel pressure.

Sounds good man.

Hard starts are usually attributed to a bad fuel pump or bad ICM.

I'd do the ICM cooling mod and see if it helps.

My brand new Racetronix pump acted like yours. It ended up being a pinhole in the teflon line that runs from the pump to the metal lines.

got about 20-25 at idle and 60 or cruising, seems to be good to me haha. Put in the new Autometer mech gauge and its good to go, the stock gauge seems to work when it wants too and sometime will go down to nothing then sometimes will be right with the autometer.

As for the opti i got it in and its workin perfect! thanks again man. I'd like to get back there to see what kinda numbers it puts down and get the shift points perfect, if you could PM me what the costs would be to see what she wants to put down at the shop that would be sweet.

Alright thanks Larry, I'll see what happens and see if i can get all the little tweaks out of it and then we'll try to figure something out to get it back on the dyno.

Well i figure out that the starting problem is in fact a fuel problem, i put a gauge on the schraeder valve today and it has about 50 or so when its running, when you just turn the key to prime the pump it spike to 50 real fast then quickly just goes back down to next to nothing so i pulled the pump out today and gonna take it up to my neighbor who is a mechanic and see what he thinks on the pump...
