You are forgiven.
Your problem is most likely ignition but I would put a fuel pressure gage on the fuel rail so you can totally rule that out.
You can replace the ICM but from my experience those things either work or they dont. I think you have bad connectivity to your plugs. Might want to see if you have any arcing from the wires to ground. You can test this by spraying fine mist of water on the opti and on the wires. If you see sparks or hear the popping then the wires are high resistance and need to be replaced.
Get rid of the NGK's and get some AC Delco plugs and if you need wires, get some MSD super conductors.
I had the same problem a while back and it was bad wires and i diagnosed it the way that I just described.
OH yeah.
And integraxtc can still kiss my ***.

I have new msd super conductors, and i drilled all the factory harnesses and ran them perfectly while the engine was out and the headers wer off. i will try the water mist idea. As far as the icm, i know its usually a no start issue, but it just died of of nowhere. The missing is pretty bad at low rpms but seems to go away at wot or above 2000. I just know it wasent plugs or wires that made it die.

OP,
As stupid as it sounds, make sure the right plug wires are going to the right cylinder. I have crossed 3&5 up several times and ended up chasing my tail for days. Happens to the best of them.
Also you can do a resistance check on the wires with a multimeter and rule them completely out too.

Oh wah wah. It is obviously an ignition issue. Start with the inexpensive checks, remove spark plugs check gap, remove carbon build up or replace. Then check wires for arching, if needed repair or replace. Next Icm. Coil, check for voltage. If all checks out ok. Remove valve covers and check rockers for loose ones, tighten/ loosen if needed. Check optispark, you have an unvented one if you haven't replaced it yet, and seeing how it is a weak link and prone to failure it would be my guess that it may have faulted.
However, it may be even more helpful to have the car F(&*cking scanned, I find it hard to believe that it could be running as shitty as you described it running and hasn't thrown a code.
Tell you what scan it for free at autozone, post the code and I will tell u exactly what the code means. and then direct you on what to replace.

Yeah I constantly have to remind myself when I jump in the Camaro that I can no longer drive over curbs anymore

This is the exact reason why i've washed my hands with tinkering with this motor. After 10 years and too many problems. Sounds like you need to focus your attention on the ignition side, icm/coil/distributor, opti wire etc.

True. Yeah one's enough.
Oh... What happened to you not looking for another one? 0_o
Anyways, sell me your wheels/tires and lift kit. Or I'll just trade you go-fast parts for the bird!! What do ya say!

How did the discs look in the Opti when you did the MSD cap and rotor? I put my MSD cap and rotor on like a idiot even though I could see surface rust on the optical discs a few years back. Got back from deployment and the opti **** out a few weeks later.
NAPA should be able to check the ICM. I've had both a bad ICM and a bad Opti over the five years of owning this car, guess what no codes! These cars can run like complete *** and not trip a code, unfortunately. Good luck.
