It wouldn't be near fitting. Those bodies aren't the same dimensions as the real cars. They are intended for Pro Stock, Pro Modified, Top Sportsman, etc full tube chassis cars. They have better aerodynamics and probably a longer wheelbase too. They just resemble the real cars. A friend of mine has a Firebird/Trans Am

This didn't seem to be for a funny car-type cars. The trunk area is much different I think. The slope seems much more extreme on the pics of yours.

but yes, it would seem it would require a full tube frame to mount to :\

EDIT: Here's their extended front clip version which seems to have a much different hood area than the above full body. So I'm a bit confused now haha

He could lighten it up with:
'93-2002 Trunk/Hatch For Steel Car Pin on. Price=246.00 Weight=8 Ship: truck frieght.
'93-97 Stock Flat Pin On Hood (with or without vents). Price=299.00 Weight=12 Ship: Truck Freight.
or Bolt On
'93-97 Stock flat Bolt On Hood (with or without vents). Price=399.00 Weight=18 Ship: Truck Freight.

And yes, the above is for the Camaro, which they also make a full body of heh

Hows that turning out for you, have any final results or pics yet?

I'm really happy how it turned out so far. The radiator shroud will be made tomorrow and then it's done.

The front has no bumper support or hood latch support ( x brace ). The radiator had to be modified a bit and laid back towards the motor some as well. I would probably say drop the radiator next time to make things easier.

I have 1 more big change to do prior to the shoot out.

10.50's ............now that sounds interesting

oh yeh..the wheels! I love them and after cleaning and polishing them today they looked so good especially with the new Strange brakes behind them.

pics tomorrow
Nice Larry, do you think you'll be able to get a factory radiator support back on or atleast a modified version of one?

thanks for the props guys

CAI is done and being that the radiator is back some a custom shroud was made

oh and those pretty Billet wheels polished with Strange brakes

I might be borrowing a Kirkey from a buddy for the event. This would save me another 40-50#'s

I have to resolve a damn belt noise that's driving me crazy. I had the alternator redone and they swapped my pulley and now it makes noise

no fiberglass 1 piece body for me

Your car looks great as usual Larry. Did you re-dyno the car after the exhaust and CAI mods?

thanks Darren

I did re-dyno it to verify the A/F was good, but did not expect any power. The catback was swapped for weight not power. The cutout proved to be within 1 HP before, so I knew the bullet would make no difference.

I did see about 10 rwtq and rwhp in the midrange, but nothing up top. The intake should really only show gains on the track.

time will tell

Looks great Larry, your intake off the the TB reminds me of Brady's old twin turbo set up he had in his 96 Z28 many years ago.
