few more changes
I am still pushing for more MPH and ET from the combo. This was done this weekend. I hope to run really good for the LTx shoot out.
- switched from a 275/60/15 DR to a 28x10.5 ET Drag
-new CAI..not finished yet. The nose was chopped out when I got the car and I cleaned it up some, but keep in my the black billet grill goes on and covers it all.
-removed catback and have a 4" bullet with turn down off Y ( no power, but 40# weight savings )
-removed bottle.. ( weight savings of 23# / NA class )
-fixed a little brake issue I found with me pedal which now doesn keep the fronts slightly on while driving ( should help )
re-scaled car
3290 with me... still heavy for the class, but I have nothing more to do, but start chopping which I refuse to do.
few pics and a vid.

thanks everyone
I'm really happy how it turned out so far. The radiator shroud will be made tomorrow and then it's done.
The front has no bumper support or hood latch support ( x brace ). The radiator had to be modified a bit and laid back towards the motor some as well. I would probably say drop the radiator next time to make things easier.
I have 1 more big change to do prior to the shoot out.
10.50's ............now that sounds interesting
oh yeh..the wheels! I love them and after cleaning and polishing them today they looked so good especially with the new Strange brakes behind them.
pics tomorrow

Don't those tires add a bit more rotational mass?
Wish there was a way to do a similar CAI (not so deep so you can keep the bumper support) w/o having to move the radiator. Maybe if a person could somehow make a plastic molded flat box to allow for the same cfm as the round pipe.
Since you don't want to chop up the car, did you think about removing the seats before a race? Assuming you haven't or don't already. If you had $4800 you could do the full fiberglass body! Except that body is 98+ style if you're OK with that Whole body only weighs 150lbs I think it was.
