I thought almost to 60mph meant not all the way to, not past...
I may have confused things in my post, I first said if you can blast past 60mph in second, you have a problem, and later in the same post said if you can't, you have a problem. What I meant was (and I corrected it above - meant can't, not can) that if you cannot go past 60mph in second, you don't have stock gears. 4.10's at 5700rpm would be about 60mph in second.
Sounds like you should get your instrumentation checked out - 2200rpm in 6th at 60mph would require about a 5.5:1 rear gear ratio.

Maybe i'm wrong about 60mph in 2nd? I'll test it out on the way home tonight. But on the way to work today i held it at 80 and i was exactly at 2k RPM.

With the 93 M29 or M28 for that matter, you will be at just under 2700 @ 80 with 4.10's and just over 2400 with 3.73's. I have a 93 w/M29 and 3.73's and am a tick over 2400@80. Easy way to figure out what gear you have is to jack up the rear and rotate the wheel 1 revolution and count the driveshaft revolutions. Also, in 2nd gear at a ratio of 2.07@5700 will be around 51mph. 3.73's for us 93 guys is like a 4.10 when used with the later model T56.

4:10
i have 4:10 in my 2000 ws6. easily under 3000, closer to 2700, 2800. i just drove it back 200 miles a week ago after putting a procharger on it. eaton posi unit. no problem. i have a couple friends that have 373.,. they wish they would have put 410's . mines a 6sp. go with the 4;10 you'll be glad you did.
gentlemen, need some ideas on lowering the rear. still has stock rear suspension. how far can i lower it w/o rubbing on stock tires & what springs & shocks would you recommend
