Question TPS? Or OPTI? 02s? Or What?

When i try to crank my car i have to hold the pedel wide open and when it finally cranks its flooding and it will barely run... it has a bad tremble while its trying to idle...

Any thoughts??

You need to find a way to get the car scanned. I would check all of the fuses, inside the car and under the hood. I would also pull up the rail and prime the car (don't start it) to check to see that you have leaky injectors.

If your car is a '96 and the PCM and wire harness have never been changed, then no, you need a OBD2 scanner. The fact that you can't scan the car might be a clue to your problems. You might have a blown fuse(s) or a bad PCM.

See no one would know that seeing your screen name and you not having any information in your sig...

Now for the scanning part, you do need a OBD1 scanner, but you have to do this:

Yes, if it is a 1995 the car will have an OBD II port and OBD I software. If you have a buddy that has a high end OBD II scanner that does both OBD I and II that will work as well.
