right.. its probably good for 15rwhp maybee 20rwhp... In all honestly its not worth the trouble to do all the dam work for the gains i got out of them. Eaither way im still over 400

so we start a LT1 thread and end up argueing LS1 facts. Interesting. I am sure that Phil will chime in when time allows for him to do so.

Phil had AI spec him a custom cam very similar to mine.
That car ran like a beast B4 he put in the cam. Him and his wife are on LTxtech didnt get to see the news over there yet. Actually his wife is a Mod on LTxtech

so the natural question is, what did your car make? is it cam only or h/c/i? I hear great things about AI, but unfortunately, not a lot of locals to see how they perform in real life

396 rwhp and runs 11 - damn. seriously good stuff for a basically stock lt1!

i would figure 11.20 @ 120 mph?

My car is a LE H/C/I with S60 rear end and it made 414 before my TDs and trapped 120mph. Im guessing it makes closer to 430 now and more like 445 if i still had a 10bolt.

If "research" is such a bad thing why are you wasting your time here? Research is what the forums are here for.

Dyno numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt anyway. I know a guy with an honest mid 9 second mid to high 14Xmph 4300lbs+ car that has a 400rwhp dyno chart.

A TH400 might drop dyno numbers 50hp from a T56 BUT it will likely be faster down the track.

In know someone with a 422rwhp LS in a car 1000lbs lighter than mine, and only a tenth or two quicker

Only reason he wouldnt go 11's would be the clutch or rear giving out

Not really considering the car in question here has not come on and responded nor has claimed anythign but what the dyno has read out.

It's not about that at all IMO. It's about sharing knowledge, If it's a cam only car what can guys get with bigger CI? I LOVE LT1's and would like nothing more to find a technological advantage for them. Hell LS1 guys would shat themselves!

Very impressive number as well. Is it safe to say that without the heads and intake that your car would put out simliar numbers as far as using these 2 cars for comparision? With the low end torque that a typical LT1 makes, it only seems logical to have a cam on a tighter LSA to make up top-end. I am interested in seeing the dyno graph once he does get it and see how closely the curve resembles mine.
