Yes texas speed, ive always delt with them.. Good customer service.. The car did have 243 heads, but i dont classify it as a H/C Car.. I went fron the 241 heads, so it was a very small jump and the 243's were completly stock off a 06 Vette. Just got them for a good deal and threw them on! But I agree 430 was a nice number for the H/C combo i had, cause it wasnt a HUGE cam, and heads were basically stock

what dyno were you on. Both mine and his car are very similiar as far as mods, cam, and numbers. There is some power left in both car via the tune (atleast for mine anyways) and both car were dyno'd on the same dyno that took a cam-only 430 car and put out 39x numbers.

btw, i love the word "research" that is so prevalent to these internet car boards. if i see someone use that word, it instantly clues me in what i am dealing with. someone that reads and doesnt actually RACE or BUILD cars. there is a HUGE difference b/w reading and doing.
sure there are exceptions, but i base this on my own "research" lol

If "research" is such a bad thing why are you wasting your time here? Research is what the forums are here for.
Dyno numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt anyway. I know a guy with an honest mid 9 second mid to high 14Xmph 4300lbs+ car that has a 400rwhp dyno chart.

A TH400 might drop dyno numbers 50hp from a T56 BUT it will likely be faster down the track.
In know someone with a 422rwhp LS in a car 1000lbs lighter than mine, and only a tenth or two quicker

Very impressive number as well. Is it safe to say that without the heads and intake that your car would put out simliar numbers as far as using these 2 cars for comparision? With the low end torque that a typical LT1 makes, it only seems logical to have a cam on a tighter LSA to make up top-end. I am interested in seeing the dyno graph once he does get it and see how closely the curve resembles mine.
