Default Vave spring swap on-car

What tools are you guys using?

I got all of mine on except the #8 exhaust. Its being a real bitch and I been fighting it for a hour.

it 240 on the seat and 640 open dual spring......so I need a pretty good tool

I am using the KD style tool. shbox has a picture of this tool on his website.

on a dual spring?

I was wondering if anyone has a LSM compressor if it will fit under the cowl the 800 series

Use the Crane tool. Well worth it (although the holes do not fit 7/16" studs...you'll have to drill them out).

Ah changing decent valve springs on the car. Sounds like a pita to me

Yes i did it with a dual spring. It was a PITA due to the inner spring wanting to decompress on a few of them. But it did work.

it won't work on this, the spring is 640# open. there is no way that tool will do that

where is the crane tool? I was looking at the LSM 800

can not find the crane tool anywhere......everyone says its N/A

I found a way easier way to do it...... I just used a pull bar from LSM I think but I dropped the k-member to do it. PITA but I needed it done asap. Only took about a hour

I was gona recommend "Tim's Tool" ...it a tool a user on here makes. He sells one for lt1's and one for ls1's...too bad you already got it too. The tool is very similar to the crane tool but it only does one spring at a time. You could've borrowed mine as I'm only ~30min away from you! Anyway congrats...dual valve springs with the heads still on the car are definitely a PITA.

I need one of these "tims tools" where do I get one?

Ill be doing patriot gold duals soon, will it work for that?
