Fail. Epic fail.

Well I have to admit, once in my frustration NOT too long ago I grabbed the brake fluid and poured it into the 'Power Steering Reservoir" Imagine how mych more frustrated I was once I realized what I had done.

At the dealership I used to work at, the heavy line tech was working on one of the salesman's cars and put power steering fluid in the brake system and brake fluid in the power steering system while doing services on his camaro. The guy still works there and the dealership had to pay to replace his entire brake system.

Not sure on that, but he performed a brake flush and filled the entire system with power steering fluid. He brought the car back after the services saying his brakes were not working properly. The fluid for some reason had a blue tint color to it. The rubber seal under the reservoir cap was very swollen and would not fit back in the cap after being removed. I'm sure the rest of the rubber seals in the system were that way as well. I did not look at anything else after it was replaced. Everything including the abs valve assembly was replaced. The tech that did it was notorious for doing stupid **** then playing dumb when something messed up. I feel sorry for people who take their car there to get heavy line work done.
