Default LT1 Carb conversion?

Where can I find a good intake manifold like victor to fit the LT1 engine with? I'm not sure I want to run it fuel injection anymore..What are all the required procedures to convert this car to carb also?

Nobody makes one unless you get a sheetmetal one, now you can by a Victor Jr for a Vortec headed sbc then have the holes welded up and redrilled to fit the LT1 head or you can buy a GMPP LT1 carb intake but it's a dual plane. I happen to have one for sale that's had the intake ports gasket matched.

Find a machine shop and have what ever intake converted, the only ones made for the LT1 is a GMPP.

yeah was thinking what to run dont want anything too big but will end up having to get a cowl hood anyway.. What about the clearance for the manifolds? How can you fit a carb in that engine bay without moving the engine forward?Or if I was planning on using AFR heads in the future ? What do you guys think?

Why do you want to switch over to a carb setup?
