i need some help. i spent like 3hrs messing w/ the rr this morning and couldn't get the clacking to stop. i tryed the 1st 3 methods already on shoebox. the clacking has gotten quieter than when i 1st started but man its annoying having to keep lossening the allen screw and tightening them all one by one just to find out it still clacking. any advice from the pro's as it seems i have no help and im trying to tackle this job by myself.

Quick question someone plz answer. If the rr are to tight would it cause the engine to not hold an idle? just got done adjusting the rr they all sound prity good to me but the car wont stay runing w/o the throttle being open a lil. Could it be do to the valve covers not being on or the rr? Need to know this question cause i dont wanna have to put the valve covers on just to take them off again. thanks

o car is also untuned w/ the new cam. still runing on bolt on tune.

it could very well be your tune, depends on how aggressive the cam is compared to stock....if it's a decent jump, the car probably won't want to run very well or hold an idle....

make sure you have all vacuum lines connected

yes rr's being too tight can cause issues

My fuel rails are stock.

So i put the valve cover back on and connected all the lines. The car still dosn't hold an idle and its poping and smoking a bit from the back. i just read that LE and AI recomend 1/8 on the rr, I set mine to 1/2 and i should of known they were to tight when the engine was hesitating a lil the more i tightend it. Live and Learn. This weekend ima try adjusting them all again it seems to me that they might be on too tight. I also just ordered a tune from PCMFORLESS from Alvin so hope that helps out too.
