Right now, I've got 103K miles on the car and I'm still in college. Don't get me wrong though, my car was very well taken care of, runs amazing, and was mine when it had 58K miles. Anyways, I want a power adder and have always been interested in nitrous, but lately have been looking into boost. I'm not looking for huge numbers here, just something to have a little fun with before I have time to do a build with a better budget. I believe a supercharger would be ideal for me. However, I'm new to the boost world and don't know what to look for.
Or do you guys think I should just stick with nitrous?

Yep stick with nitrous unless you want to build the motor. My stock short block only lasted 3k mi @ 8psi until #8 ringland cracked. It still was makin 426whp stock supercharged, but the motor only had 30k mi on it.
Nitrous will be much cheaper. You will, however, be at the mercy of your tank capacity...
A supercharger is never a bad route to go, I think you could safely boost around 5psi, maybe 7.
If I were you I would get a nice n2o kit. Save up your money for a FI kit and a stout short block and ported heads/intake to make the most out of the build.

I have a supercharged LT1 (7psi) and spent $5000 for the blower setup, $1000 for the tune (including injectors), and I blew my motor.
I started over now --spent another $6000
so FI is expensive, save up and do it right the first time (block up)

Well the p1sc intercooled procharger kit cost me 3800.00 back in 03". Then prolly another 500 just going through and addressing all the problems with the kit. New couplers, clamps, converted from rubber inlet pipes to aluminum, vortech blow off valve, remachined the pulley's because of belts getting chewed up, and also had to machine new spacers for the fans. Im sure that Im missing a few things too. Now I've been told the new kits are better, but I got a pile of **** for 3800.00 bucks let me tell ya. Forced induction is expensive and not easy, especially when your trying to cram a headunit, intercooler, and 9ft of plumbing under the hood of a f-body. Thats why I went back na, the car is more fun to drive! I loved the power of the blower, but now I have almost the same amount of power and its alot easier to work on.
I would stick with nitrous until you can afford to build the bottom end for boost. The stock bottom end is hit or miss when it comes to boost. It might last 50k miles, it might last 5 miles.
NOTHING like boost, nitrous for girls.
. Don't boost your stock engine though, unless you go with 5-6 lbs of boost. Do it right the first time, bore it .30 over, get your -31 SRP $550 pistons with total seal rings, with 58 cc exhaust chambers and 9:2 compression and push 10 lbs of boost, everyone on the road can still kiss ur ***.
I went with 195 AFR Heads, 8:9 compression with top of the line parts in the block (dished SRP, /eagle Crank and bored .60 over) and pushing 12 lbs of boost right now with the LT4 intake. Nothing like boost, NOTHING.

Boost is great...if you have the engine for it. A stock 10:1 compression LT1 is not the engine for boost. Even low boost is going to give you lots of trouble in very little time, it needs to be a dedicated boost motor if you really want to experience the perks of boosting.
I might add that the turbo route can be a total PITA. My little turbo car gives me hell all the time and I want to get rid of it just do I don't have to mess with all the querks that come from a turbo car.
