very nice results for the first outing considering the weather and tune adjustments needed

it should really work well in good weather with some tweaks

Seems like you have some tweaking to do but after that man, this car WILL be a strong runner and possibly pushing real close to 10's. Great job.

Thanks guys. Second Street Speed in Perkasie PA will be doing the tuning (they built George Baxter's 9-second 97 SS convertible) this Friday. Looking to get back to the track this weekend, weather pending.

Nice first time out, can't wait to see what it runs once the tweaking is done. Then again, is there really a point when your done with the fine adjusting?

Which Ai heads are you running the 200's ported stockers or the TFS 215's?

I live in south Jersey. Normally I head to Atco or Cecil, but MG was the only track open on Saturday.

You need to follow standard NHRA guidelines. Every track has to abide by these rules. Take a look at the NHRA rule-book and it'll tell you everything you need to know.

**** that.

That car has easy 10's in it. Just have some fun tweaking it, you'll get there. 3.90's are pushing it for a ~120mph trap unless you are running some bigger rear tires. My car is running a 25.7" tall tire and a loose converter and it is all done at 114-115mph, it just won't go any faster. I'd bet you will have the same problem.

What tires are you running?

I can attest that the car all but rips your head off when you jump on it. Some little bugs to work out, but that's the fun part.

I think I heard the converter lock up on the first pass (in person, not shown here) as the engine changed pitch at about the 1000' mark. I think that lockup switch is a must, Pants.

Take dyno vids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
