radio and power window turn off while driving.

motor burnt out probably. when they start to go, they work slower and overheat - after they cool off for some time, they will work a little and then overheat again - usually they overheat when they encounter some resistance. so it will never be able to roll all the way up because the most resistance is at the top of the travel.

you say your radio turns off? does it turn off then on? mine does that sometimes but only when i playing the music REALLY loud with something like lots of bass etc, i assume its overdraw or something like that and the radio always reboots. i turn the music down and bass and treble or w/e down also and change the song. certain frequencies it seems, mostly when its really hot out. i heard it could be a bad ground issue, i did the radio install myself. perhaps you have a wire loose in the harness somewhere? our radios are easy to get to, so check your harness and wiring.

Fairly common problem -- it's mostly likely a bad BCM, or a loose power and/or ground connection from the BCM.
BCM location can be seen on Shoebox's website....or I think BFrankers as well under alarm install.
Usually hitting to the right of the dash will help since that is near the BCM.
But its in pass.side kick panel

This has just started happening with my car except the drivers side window motor burned out and I just had that replaced and now my dash lights and radio lights go out whenever the lights are on. Is this the same problem?

Don't "fix" the window motor until you've done the BCM mod.
This is a common problem with these cars. Get the the BCM, it's above or next to the glove box. Crack it open and touch up the solder joints on the circuit board. As noted above, it's usually the larger joints that hold the relay to the board.
Put it back in and your problems will be gone.
GM has always had a problem with cold solder joints. Wiper control boards, BCM boards, ABS modules, etc.

FWIW if anyone with a 93-95 ever has this happen, it's due to the RAP module under the steering column. had this happen on mine last year while wiring in the auto trix pass window fix. i accidently hooked up the wrong wire (gray instead of brown i think) and it fried the module and i lost the radio and the power windows.
