Well I have always broke the lower gears and I have yet to see anyone including myself brake the 4.10's. Its less of a load for the engine and drive train. Just speaking from my experience.

I have seen many people rip up the 4.10's..I've destroyed 3.73's with my car when it was an Auto. With 4.10's on a 7.5" it's just a matter of time till .
