Default Any good machineshops in Maryland?

I have an LT1 that I want to build into a budget 383 and I want to know if there are any quality Machineshops in Maryland who can do quality machine work at a reasonable price, thanks?

I would try Jacksons Auto Machine. They do great work and have a great reputation.

Where abouts are you in Maryland?

Burtonsville Performance Machine. They aren't "cheap" but they do have a builder who has been involved with lsx/ltx engines at that shop for the last 9 years. They know everything about lt1 engines that needs to be known to build a great reliable engine. Just a word of caution, for budget engines they do not deal with Eagle rods. The reason being is the pan rails (at least for a stroker) need to be clearanced, but the Eagle rods actually demand more area which is a greater risk of breaking into a water jacket and for a street motor they would rather not have to use block fill.
I had them short block my 396 which has been taken to 7200rpm regularly without incident. Engine has been in the car for 2 years without incident.
