Default best for the buck 9.5" converter

im looking into buying a 3200rpm or higher stall torque converter after searching i found that pi, yank, and edge are the way to go are there any other i may consider and why is edge so cheaper the pi and yank?

PI and Yank have billet covers, Edge does not there is your cost difference. Personally these are the only three I would consider. I am very happy with Edge but would not hesitate to use either of those other two.

The 9.5" converters cheaper than Edge like TCI are hit and miss at best, some of them are just plain miss.

A torque converter is not really the area to try and save money. Yank and Vigilante are some of the very best. There are other converter out there that are good though like Dwayne said with his edge converter. I'd pick between the three. Edge are cheaper and as long as you're not running some serious hp then that should be fine. Also like Dwayne said there's others but they seem to have more issues.
