Japan Export Camaro's??
Sad that the place that makes most of the worlds race bikes gets the crappiest crippled versions. I never heard of a Jap spec camaro, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was horribly detuned and speed limited. I think it was lifted already along with the motorcycle limits, but in the past the max hp a car can have from the factory in Japan was like 250 or something lame.
The restrictions were def in effect from 93-97 when these cars were made though.

I just bought a 1999 Camaro, exported from Japan to here in the UK, the Dealer said it was 305 Bhp still, but i don't think he would know, but on the spec sheet it mentions some Jap export modifications, just wondering if anyone knows what they could mean...

EDIT: You should have the same power as the US ones, unless they were detuned, nothing a tune can't fix though...
