Default WTF do I do now?!!!

I was changing my valve springs and when I attempted to pull the valve stem seal out, the whole sleeve cam with it. Can I hammer it back in?

I don't have any advice, but that's the first time I've ever seen that!

i would definetly pull the head and take it to a machine shop for repairs. if it comes out with the engine running it could cause serious damage.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Now would be a good time to pull the heads and have some porting done. There might be a way to get it back in securely, I don't know, but will you take the chance that another might do the same thing?

This sucks. Hopefully someone will chime in who has tapped it in and had success.

So what does that mean? Just because they stayed in with you pulling on them is not exactly a foolproof test now, is it?

There's no way in hell I'd try to pound that back in. Take off the head and have it fixed.

Yes, guides just don't pull out like that unless there is a problem. In order to pull guides normally the head has to be heated and they still have to be hammered out.
As suggested your ONLY wise option is to go to a machine shop. It would not be surprising if your other guides may have issues. More than likely they all need to be replaced.
