i would use percy's dead soft aluminum gaskets, percy's XXX carbon, or OEM ones. the paper pacesetters suck 90% of the time.

also, you should get a 12" and 24" extension for your o2 sensors, the pacesetter kit isnt really reliable

just did LTs on my buddies T-56 bird and we had to beat the **** out of the primary on the pass. side cause it would wedge itself between the k-member and the floor pan. SUCKED!!! and the infamous steering shaft. you guys think that was because of not changing the motor mounts? i told him to swap over to poly and he was like no they are brand new lol

My gaskets and extensions that came with the kit work fine.

That's what he should have done.

OP. The PS headers come with DIY extensions...I would never use them. A nice pair of o2 extensions is what I used (Caspers electronics ext's ordered from JEGS). You souldn't have any clearance issues whatsoever if you are using race style headers and you swap over to the poly mounts.

there's a place on ebay called nooks and trannys I got some extensions from them for around $30-40.

a half assed wiring job on o2 extensions can cause them to never read properly or cause you to by new pigtails/o2s if you fudge it up bad enough. I'd rather have the piece of mine from an extension
