So in other words, you basically tried flooding that cyl. Since with the loose rocker, it wasn't opening the valve to it's fullest, so you're leaving all that exhuast in the cyl, and it can't burn all the new stuff, then it just piles up into the manifold from there.....in basic terms..... So with the rocker properly adjusted and new plugs I'd assume it'll smoke a little here and there until out burns all the carbon off in the combustion chamber. Worst thing is you don't know how long that rocker was like that. If it's been like that for a very long time, you may have washed the cyl with all the unused fuel....but I'm assuming that it hasn't been too long so you'll probably be ok. Have the boys at speed do the tune, and see what happens from there, I don't see too much bad coming from this. BTW check the plugs again after the dyno time and see what she looks like.

Thats what Im thinking also. If 3 growm men sit behind the car and it looks like were all crying and cant smell oil its prob rich.
Not sure how long it was like that, my guess is it started at the shootout and I have barley drivin the car since maybe 3 miles.

AChotrod, I am only repeating what Ion said the last time I talked with him about the TB screen. I asked if I should put it back in, and he said no, not until we put it back on the dyno with the wideband. So with that said, I would find a new one and put it back in.

Damn you SD guys!!!
What do you think, should I open the plugs back up tonight or leave them at what Lloyd speced and just have the tune adjusted?
Keep in mind this car will be going N20 by the end of the season, just not now and the plugs wont need to be regapped again then.

you might as well leave them if you're going to spray it....but are they colder plugs or comparable to stock heat range??? If they're colder leave them alone if they're not you're gonna need to replace 'em anyway to a colder range to keep the motor happy.....
And my 9 and 3 yr olds can't wait to see the car on the rollers
