Default lt1 fuel pressure guage

i have a 97 trans am and i bought an in cab fuel pressure guage and it camme with a sending unit that has a male threaded end, how do i hook this up? the only place i see that i can connect the sending unit also has a male threaded end. is there an adapter i need, or is there a special sending unit that i need.

Remove the schroder (spelling??) valve pressure relief fitting on the back of the fuel rail, near the Regulator; then put in a brass Female / Female adaptor, then screw in your male end - problem solved!

thanks for the help, is that the peice with the plastic cap on it? and do you happen to know the part number of the fitting i need?

I used these two:
EAR-998604ERL -4an male to 1/8" female 90 degree
EAR-915104ERL -4an female to -4an female

I found I had no where enough room to install the sending unit straight up, even at 90 degrees it barely misses the cowl in my case. Maybe sending units have gotten smaller over the years as I'm using a older model Autometer with the black box.
