I'm not. That's what my face will be when I pop my hood and some one asks me what year LS1 that is. LOL.

Here is a pic of my LTCC setup.

LTCC setup

Only thing that is used from the opti is the optical sensor. The high voltage is removed from the opti. All I have seen is a smoother idle and no longer have spark contamination and misfires in the higher rpms. I mounted the control box inside the truck behind my glovebox to keep it dry.

You can then ditch the stock ICM and coil.

Im thinking about the coil pack deal myself. My Dynaspark just died after only 5000 miles. Completely rediculous.

L76/L92/LQ4...close enough to a LS3...but it's definitely not a LS1.

i'm using a stock Delphi replacement from the partslady on ebay. mine had gone out so I replaced it then purchased the ltcc months later. Opti is still good. I have noticed I ran pig rich after the ltcc install. I do not know why but that will all be fixed once HCI is done shortly.

I have a stock AC Delco and I spin to 6500 regularly. 6800 on occation...
I was sure to thread lock the rotor screws though.

AFAIK, the Delphi unit is just as good.

Thanks.
It's the GMPP L76 Intake..pretty much identical to the LS3, just the way the MAP Sensor mounts is the difference. The L76/LS3 Intakes are the only GM Car Intakes that are made for these L92/LS3 Heads, these heads are unique from the majority of the LS Heads cause of the Rectangular Intake Ports. The LS7's are Rectangular aswell, they are different aswell..one of a kind.

I think you need a larger bore to use LS7 heads.

^^ Bingo....the LS7 is the nice and large 4.125" bore. So unless you're that "big" (or close to it) you'll have piston to wall issues. I wish I was that big
