I run Nitto 555R's, I heard they really like a good burn out.

I'm scared *cowers* I'm sure my Nitto iNVOs could handle a little more than 3k but I really don't want the rear or clutch to go bye bye just yet.

Best technique that I've found to work is do a good burnout (talking street here), spin the tires again after I back up to clean them off and make sure it sticks on the dry hop.

I always burnout where I'm gonna launch to lay down rubber and clean off the ground too.

Then I hold the rpms btw 3500-4000 and let the clutch out very quickly, but smoothly.

I find if I dump or sidestep the clutch, the sudden shock to the drivetrain breaks the tires loose a lot easier.

If I let the clutch out quickly and smoothly, the car bogs for 20-30ft and dead hooks.

This is MT ET streets on the street havent had it to the track yet w these tires.

I got it to hook on a 4500+ clutch dump on the street once and it was awesome! Launched so damn hard it jarred the rearview mirror up towards the roof of the car lol. Then I started thinking about my poor poor 10-bolt :-(
