I had a guy weld mine closed for $25. I gave him a 1/2 dollar and he said that it would be a pain in the *** to weld it in that because of the copper in it so he gave me back the 1/2 dollar and just welded it with a peice of aluminum! Apparently some metals don't like to go together to well. I do know most local exhaust shops don't have the right welder's for it. It takes a "mig" welder not a tig or arch! Luckily the exhaust shop guy new a guy. It turns out looking real nice too!

EWP def worthe the money. I got a csr and had no clearance issues (96 camaro). I just had to put the fan back on after EWP from the bottom it was lil snug but no cutting required or anything. Def one the better mods for the dollar imo. I will say though the painless relay set up summit sent kept glitching. I found it much more convenient to just run power straight from ign. Just a thought

Ya that is what i will be doing. I need to try and see if i can dig up that diagram that someone put up that a LED installs so that if the EWP goes out it activates the LED. If anyone remembers where this was or has this diagram please post it. I have ordered my csr so now im just waiting on it to come in.
