Removing oil pan
Chain the engine to the STB, drop the k-member...so easy. That's another way, jack under the crank hub.
I tried it with the balancer on because I have not had time to remove it. I will have a go at it after tomorrow because I am working tomorrow night (earning extra $$ to buy a SS3600
)I want to remove it just to replace my oil pump and put in a new seal. I am also getting a new sending unit to make sure I am getting a correct reading.

That's normal LT1 oil pressure right there. GM spec for LT1 oil pressure at hot idle is 7 psi min... 20psi hot idle is fine. As long as you get ~10psi for every 1000 rpm, you're good to go.
