Default having issues after tune up please help!!!!

so my car was tuned up sat and that day it ran fine until it heated up and then it would surge at idle but now it has a skip and will not blow the tires off in 1 st gear or any gears.

the car seemed like it was running on 7 cylinders so i checked the plugs and wires
i found a plug wire loose and i put it back on tight to the spark plug and now it does not skip as bad but it still is not right

the car does not feel like it has the power it had before the tune up

any ideas why the car is not running right

this is aggravating me that i paid for a tune up and it runs worse now than it did before

the car is a 95 z28 lt1 stock with mods in sig

any thought's would be helpful

thanks

Check the Plug Wires on the OPTI and make sure they are in the right spot..if two that are close in the Firing Order are swapped around it will do what you are describing.

Check the one going from the Coil to the OPTI as well for assurance.

Make sure a plug wire hasnt gotten into a pulley. Mine did that once after changing plug wires.

If someone wasnt careful when routing the wires to keep them away from the pulleys this could easily happen.

It'll still run, won't have the power it should have and may sound like it's cammin..

ok now i got some different issues
we found a burnt plug wire so got the skip straightened out
but it still surges only at idle, and its hesitating and the exhaust is popping every once and a while at WOT,

im leaning towards o2's or could it be the fuel pressure regulator????
