Nice work, if you ever sell a system, I wonder how much using aluminized pipe would save in the cost??

Hey:

How about a set like this, quad chambered 3" to the bumper, loud but not too loud sounds great.

That looks awesome bro.

I thought about going that route with the pipes going up each side, but only using 2.5" pipes. I figured 3" pipes are overkill for my specs.

The reason I chose to go over the right side is it allows me to run many more muffler combinations. I can run a the Magnaflow (which is on there now), chambered like the GMMG mufflers or just about anything else.

If I need a project next year, I might build another SS system like what is in your photo but with 2.5" pipes for the Hell of it to see if the fab work is any easier. It was a PITA getting the two pipes to go over the axle with hitting the chassis and PH support.

Hey :

I have not drove it down the road yet, just started it up, so I may find out some other things about the system I do or don't like once I drive it down the road a lot. It's got good ground clearance and plenty of room on both sides, so we will see how it goes. I am using half the y and the cats I got from you on this. So we will see how it runs.

Regular SFC's dont fit the vert. There is only one that does and I forgot who makes them.

I went with the MWC 9" simply because I did not want to encounter 10 bolt issues. I dont really race it either. Thanks for the compliment.

Do they bolt on or weld on?

you can bolt them on in front and rear but the middle tabs have to be welded! So you can install and later have them welded and not have to pay for install and just pay for welds

That is one of the best looking exhausts I've seen. I can think of one that tops it and it was done by Kooks if I remember correctly and cost around $3000.

Thanks for the compliment. I know the Kooks system you are speaking of and yes that is the benchmark that all others should be judged against. I would love to see and hear that one in person.

Looks fantastic! Everything is tucked in nice and tight as well. Curious what power gains you got from going to a true dual setup...

I've seen a couple of exhaust jobs around my neck of the woods and the looked like ****. Hung down really low because the didn't follow the existing exhaust path so on a lowered car they were a no no. They got the job done but wasn't even in the same ball park as yours and were only dumped underneath.

Again great job!

That's gotta be one of the finest systems I've ever seen. I need to try to duplicate it, do you have a part # for the muffler?

I'm thinking it is a Magnaflow 12468 SS muffler, but I might be wrong, someone correct me if I am.
