Does not sound right to me, lt1 cars have no problems making low end tq to warrant installing a rv cam! Also I would not think a rv cam has a 4500-6500 power range, rv's need more lower end power and tq range to get alot of weight moving efficiently. Hopefully someone like 96capmgr can chime in, Im no cam expert.

I guess a b-body is almost as heavy as an RV

Cams like the Crane 227 etc. are considered "RV" cams because they exhibit off idle power with strong low-end to mid-ranges. The 227 is real popular with the heavy B-Body guys because it helps them start out quicker. So what I can gather from you said, it's a cam from Lunati that is designed for heavy cars so something with alot of low-end power and torque. The 4500-6500 rpm range however makes no sense at all. RV cams may make peak around 5500-5700 or so with power coming in early on.
