Yep...I was told the same thing last year. According to (not only) ThePartsLadi, GM stopped manufacturing them a long time ago, and they've all been sold out. Now, this is not to say the Delphi units (or any other) are not good quality. It just means I would not trust anyone selling one as brand new and asking hundreds of dollars for it.

My local mechanic, who worked for a GM dealership for over 10 years, said they were told by GM that once they sell out of their stock...that's it. They ran out back in 2007.
