Default Summit Water Pump vs Jegs Water Pump LT1

Are these the same thing the one from summit is like 20 more bucks and says Chevrolet Performance wp and jegs says nothing about Performance, are they the same ?

a water pump is a water pump. As long as its a lt1 oversized mammoth of a water pump it will do fine

they are all primarily the same thing, what you should really worry about is which one has the best warranty!

The Summit waterpump is a CVR Performance unit. Summit's specs are also off, so go by what CVR has on thier website for LT1 waterpumps... I have one on the 383 in my '95 Convertible and it works great. Bolted on without issues.

Summt brand starters are also CVR Performance units as well... Figured I would mention that... The CVR 5323 and 5323M both fit LT1s with minor cutting to the mounting block. The Jegs 555-10001 is damn near the same thing and it's mounting block does not require any modifications. I have a CVR 5323M on the aforementioned 383 as well...

Cheaper at rockauto. Had mine for awhile still doing fine.
