The car is on the dyno tweaking the NA tune. The reason being my hotwire kit burned out as mentioned before and I am only running 1 pump now. The amount of fuel volumn did alter the way the car ran. I always had a cold start issue and had to throttle the car for a few seconds and now that is gone...reach in and turn the key and it idles great. The A/F was a little leaner on 1 pump v's the 2, so we are just playing with the A/F some.

I'm super happy with the combo since it just made over 460 rwhp

runs were done locked

NA

462/431

N20

525/512

nitrous graph looks a little odd due to the converter flashing then locking, unlocking and then locking again

yeh I know it's not the best to do, but I trust my Yank/FLT combo

We ran a real safe tune to just make sure it's working and did not pull it past 6600.

20-21 degrees of timing
11.3-11.5 A/F
116 in the dedicated
93/100 in the fuel tank

I will work on the nitrous tune at the track to get it in the 12.0-12.2 area.

unlocked was about 20 rwhp if I recall when the car was first put together

little more info :

62/46 with 11psi v's the 10psi recommended which is the reason it's rich

950 bottle pressure

I discovered when purging the system down after closing the bottle it did not look clean. Then after taking my bottle out ( which was over 1 year old ) it was damn near out of spray and seems to have air.

bottle is getting fully emptied and filled tomorrow for testing Fri

I know the #'s are low on spray, but I was not really looking for a # and rather the A/F being o.k to start with.

thanks Mike

it was the 150 shot, but as mentioned above the tune is very conservative and A/F rich. I was not looking for big #'s on the bottle, but to just wanted to check the A/F to be o.k to start tuning at the track.

+ I just weighed the bottle after removing it and it's is just about empty w/ 3#'s. This could not help and seems to be some air as well.

I will work on the tune at the track for the N20 tomorrow.

I'm not saying all air, but it does appear to be some air in the bottle when purged and or opening the valve.

I will not be in tomorrow, so the guys will take care of you @ 9a.m. There better be a red Formula at the track tomorrow testing with the new combo and good air.

Looks like I need to start thinking about a fuel cell soon too.

sorry to see you not make it...the track was there, but the air could have been better

NA 10.86@123 1.41 60 ft

N20

I want to work some more on getting the most from the 150 shot both traction and tune wise and move from there.

I did not go over the plugs Fri, but got the A/F in the 11.8-12.2 area and I was very happy with the results for the 1st time out

1.36 60 ft ..still more in it
6.40 1/8
107 mph 1/8
10.09 ET
132.5 1/4 MPH

I plan to put a little more timing in it, play with shift points and keep working on the window switch to get it to 60ft harder...went 1.41 on HP the same night.

I was a little worried this night so I tightened things up after Z8s put his LS1 street car on the bumper. I drove the car to and from the track and wanted to make sure I could make it back the 1.5+ hr trip.

I have to getting a alternator issue sorted out here and be back at the track in a couple weeks.

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny, my alternator dumped on me yesterday 50 miles from home and no one had one. When the battery voltage gets low the trans and car do strange things LOL.

SUCKED.
