thanks..
yeh it was under 12 cruising, but WOT the Caspers volt blaster was keeping it o.k
I notice more driving home when everything went dim, speedo and tach jumping. I would then drive for a mile and boom voltage come back, then drop again. This damn alternator has been redone twice by a local place and lets just say the 3rd time they will not be the doing it.
I feel this has been part of my off idle stumble issue all along as well.
always something with these toys

Nice results for first time out testing on spray. Despite the air temps, you're car seems to be putting down good numbers as always. Hopefully you get those electrical issues sorted out, which I'm sure you already have. And by your next outing, I'll try to come out and hopefully have my car running too.

Well I unloaded mine off the trailer( a buddy came and got me) I stepped on it out in the street and it started charging, the needle bounced a couple of times then quit charging. I broke out my manual, the plug in the back with the key on make sure you have batt volts on the wire in that plug from the gauge cluster. Mine does, bad alt.

I've never had any luck with a reman. alternator, just dont last over a year or two. I might just have to buy a GM unit...that wont be cheap, lol.
Almost had you a 9 sec pass, Larry. Next time you'll get it, I have a feeling

I had the stock one done for higher amps, but as mentioned it doesn't seem to be working well.
I feel good about going to Byron in a couple weeks with 0 changes other then a full bottle I will get my 9 sec slip.
GLD never is my PB track

Killer 60ft for being on the small shot. Did you guys make any adjustments from the dyno to the track on nos (timing, fuel pressure, etc.)? Just curious if you did that with the numbers off of the dyno. Do you think you are loosing any power on the bottle with that loose verter? Reason I ask is I just had to tighten mine way up from a 3600.

other then leaning it out just a touch it's the same as the dyno
I will try locking it next time out to see how it responds.
We will get to Byron soon to work more on the car after I get a good alternator. I will give you a heads up Mike to get out with us.
thanks guys

sorry to see you not make it...the track was there, but the air could have been better
NA 10.86@123 1.41 60 ft
N20
I want to work some more on getting the most from the 150 shot both traction and tune wise and move from there.
I did not go over the plugs Fri, but got the A/F in the 11.8-12.2 area and I was very happy with the results for the 1st time out
1.36 60 ft ..still more in it
6.40 1/8
107 mph 1/8
10.09 ET
132.5 1/4 MPH
I plan to put a little more timing in it, play with shift points and keep working on the window switch to get it to 60ft harder...went 1.41 on HP the same night.
I was a little worried this night so I tightened things up after Z8s put his LS1 street car on the bumper. I drove the car to and from the track and wanted to make sure I could make it back the 1.5+ hr trip.
I have to getting a alternator issue sorted out here and be back at the track in a couple weeks.

rob seems to have hurt his rear...we think he spun an axle and broke the spool (aluminum)...passenger side seems like the only side engaging...when he gets on it is drives the car to the left...
and i saw that bumper pass, he pedaled it decently but i bet those headers are crunched...there was some huge sparks, glad it wasnt the oil pan...

Thank goodness for the UMI K member with the double row on the bottom it protects the oilpan .but it is a little lighter now Even with all the airtime it still went a new PB1/4 and 60ft 1.325 probably on the rear tires Exhaust is all good.

Looks like its coming along great. Funny how the little gremlins seem to show up no matter what precations you take - gotta love performance vehicles.
Not bad for a streetcar

I did not get to talk to everyone as much as I wanted too...I ran the car with not much cool down as you seen and otherwise ran the 2010 a coupe times...almost getting landed on by Z8's
I hope Rob did not do much damage and get the ride back together quickly.. I will let you guys know the plan for Byron when I know.
and yes..if a K-Member is in min I suggest UMI which protect the oil pan
