header gaskets.... ok so i got some coated pacestters iam bought to install in a week or two..and they came with these papaer header gaskets witch iam not gunna use..so i would like to know a very good gasket to use? and if anyone has a part number or a link so i could check them out.. thanks
sSprisingly those pacesetter gaskets have always sealed up well for me on installs. The only problem being they're a huge PITA to get the pieces off should it leak or you have to pull them for another issue

I used GM 4 layer stainless steel LT4 gaskets, picked em up from a local chevy dealer and havnt had any problems. Just had to drill 1 new hole in them. I think it was like $30?

Another vote for Fel-Pro 1406's.
Mine are awesome.
They dont look like anything special in the package, but there are guys on here who have used the same set for years and years throughout many engine / header swaps and they hold up and seal amazingly well.

Percys Dead Soft Aluminum Multi Layer Gaskets, never blew one out through two different motors. Great gasket, got em on my camaro and my daily driver gto.
