Default 370 stroker build fired up and then died.

So after six months i have the motor back in the car and running, essentially. It will ran for a few moments then started cutting out and died. It then wouldnt restart. I went to school and came home 2.5 hours later and it started up and ran awsome for about 10 minutes when it got alittle too hot for comfort so i shut it down, messed with the cooling system for a while, found a bad leak in my custom coolant crossover pipe on the back of the heads. After that it would fire and then die when i tried to start it, and it has no spark now. How ever it has spark at the coil.

Obviously im thinking opti as its the original 100k mile unit but before i pull the trigger on that i need some opinions, the wallet is hurtin after this build.

just went outside (3 hours after it died) and it started right up, i didnt run it for long. I also realized that im missing my o2 extension for the pass. side rear o2, can it be that its running in closed loop and then in open loop it isnt getting a reading?

also noticed that the plug that goes into the coolant sensor used by the PCM on the WP is loose. Could that possibly give me this problem?

You need to have a logging system on the car for initial startups of new setups so you can see whats going on.

I would'nt be suprised if your IAC is out of wack, TPS probably isnt set within voltage range and your plugs are probably close to fouled now.

I pulled a plug and it wasn't fouled. However i was under it today making sure no wires got burned or anything and i noticed that the vac line that goes from the intake boot to the smaller nipple on the opti fell off. I plugged it in and it fired up instantly, idled perfect, ran perfect at 2.5k and seemed to be 100% better. However my temp gauge stopped working so i shut her down after a few mins just because the last thing a motor needs with 20 mins run time is to overheat.

Well it still doesnt idle well and it runs alittle rough down low in RPM's, however my trifecta tune hasnt arrived yet so i didnt expect it to run very well.
