Default street 383 build questions

im looking to push the envelope on my 383 but i still want it to be streetable. it will have around 12 to 1 compression. right now it has the gm847 cam in it but i would like to go with something bigger to really get some power out of it. i was thinkning 238/246 duration .595/.595 lift 109 lsa. how would that sound/ run with some LE2 heads? i would like to here what you guys are running. thanks!!

Talk to Lloyd, he had some great ideas for 383 street cams.
I've been seriously thinking about dumping the one I have for one he suggested.

I've got a CC306 in my 383 and it has excellent street behavior. It's a nitrous setup so i'll probably keep the LSA a little higher but wouldn't mind having a little more aggressive cam if I ever change it in the future.

I'm not sure really. I want to get a custom grind so I'll probably holler at LE when I'm ready.

What kind of rwhp/rwtq are you guys with 12:1 383's making with the 847 cam? I'm asking because I have 2 hr cams right now the 847 and a custom comp 230/230 - .560/.560 110 lsa 1.6 rr's and I'm wondering which one to run in my dd 383 m6.
Which of these cams will make the most hp/tq with the m6 full chassis and suspension work including an S60 rear with either 3.73's or 4.30's, 3" true duals, ported heads & intake, 58mm tb and 42# Racetronics injectors.

I run a weenie 226/234 .568" on a 111 lsa matched to my LPE/E.B. Porting 2.00/1.56 valved LT1 heads in my 11.2:1 383...DD all over the place and ran the numbers in my sig consistently last year with 4.10s/28" DR and a mild Vig 3600...Have since restalled to 4000, added a Spohn pro series rear bar and stepped up to 325 50s from 275 60s...There's a 10 second pass in ths thing yet, even at over 3600 lbs...I like smaller duration cams with larger lifts, always have and have had great success with them...

remember you're gonna want a cam that'll help bleed off all the cylinder pressure though in a high SCR motor
