Just pointing out what an utter retard you are being is all. Trying to compare your setup to mine is absolutely ridiculous. You excusing yourself on not running faster than 122mph before having to ditch weight is ******* hilarious with all that you have done. Mouthing off about my ***** cam compared to your real cam and then backpeddling because you have no idea what you are typing while stating how your real cam's profile is so close to mine is idiotically brilliant. Then trying to compare me having a manual and running faster to the engine modifications you've done?
Only someone of your mental capacity would do such things, however reading how you've handled yourself on this board and CZ28.com before it's par for the course.
You still have failed to answer whether I am going to blow up if I don't get shaft mounts and less than 30psi at hot idle. Where do you come up with these things?

You floor me, I never once said you HAD to have anything to run a solid roller. Everyone EXCEPT you in these circles knows the more oil pressure you have at hot idle on a solid roller extends its life. They also know valvetrain stability means power and less maintenace. If you dont want to believe thats your red wagon. And its your opinion.
But if I had a solid roller 396 SIX SPEED that only ran 11.80@120 I would set that pile ON FIRE. My FIRST shakedown passes with two wounded pistons in the summer was 11.20@121 and I knew nothing about the car.At 3860lbs !!!!!!!!!!! But you should run better, that stick should out MPH me NO PROBLEM.
At 3600lbs I dont have a gutted car by any means, LOL.
Again, with a six speed in my car, you reckon it would MPH 130? Seeing as six speed to six speed would be a fair comparison. NOT your 396 six speed to my 383 stalled auto.
BUT if you would like a SIDE BY SIDE comparison, I am sure we could work it out. You might not like the outcome though.
BTW YOU compared YOUR car to mine going after my MPH on my 3800lb passes. Big fawkin deal there, you gotta have something to make you feel better about that car, and thats ok. But comparing a stalled auto to a stick is no comparison.
To run 120 mph that turd HAS to be making a BLISTERING 420-430 to the wheels....right? IMPRESSIVE for a six speed solid roller 396 I must say. Maybe with better valvetrain it would make better power?
That thing truthfully should run 126 mph. It should make at least 450 to the wheels.
MPH only means you called and ordered up some power, ET shows you know what to do with it.

For the record SSRRR when I bought my car it was a bolt on six speed car with a 3.73 gear. Full weight. I got it to run a 12.60@110mph, it made 330 to the wheels. STOCK CAM, on drag radials. Stock SS wheels.
So you are only .8 quicker and 10 mph faster with a solid roller 396 and a six speed?
I rest my case.
I'm done, Sorry AC for blowing up your thread. If you need anything PM me. Be glad to help.

Isnt always weird that your worn out after a vacation? lol
Anyways I talked with Lloyd and to do it right would be a pretty penny that I dont have. So we are discussing a simple HR cam swap that should pick up a ton on the big end. The rest of the engine is already up to par. So if I decide to go with it Ill prob swap it over the winter. So the cam and a gear swap is the plan as well as finishing off the chassis.
BTW guys, this thread has been very entertaining and theres alot of good info too.

That might be my fault . I had my rev limmiter at 8,000. I made peak power at 7,000 but only dropped off 2 hp at 7500. I love the SR cam, and I love RPM.
