I had a custom cam made and I was trying to figure out if it was a beefy one or a baby cam. Here are the specs:


Intake Duration .050: 229.8 ; valve lift .600

Exhaust duration .050: 234.7 ; valve lift .598

Lobe separation: 107.9.

I wanted something that would idle pretty mean and make great power all the way to 6500. did i buy the wrong one? thanks

I'd say that's a pretty healthy cam. I was running a 230/230 .565/.565 on a 107 and it made power all the way to 6500.

The new cam is a 236/242 .612/.612 with a 110+4

On a 107 LSA im sure that thing will be quite choppy at idle. I think your probably going to be making power past 6500.

For a 350 I would say it's on the larger side of the spectrum. Should sound wicked with that duration combined with that lobe separation!
