Default Finally did a compression check...

Ever since I threw in this other stock shortblock along with the LE heads/cam it didn't really go any faster than with the cam only setup before with equal comparisions(same tuneup, weather, etc) so today I did a quick compression check...

1 - 145
3 - 140
5 - 150
7 - 140

2 - 125
4 - 125
6 - 140
8 - 120

We squirted some oil in the passenger side to see what it would read after and got these numbers...

2 - 150
4 - 180
6 - 185
8 - 170

Looks like I might have found the power loss, guess a budget 355 will be in store this winter.

Good to hear your found the issue, sorry to hear it's going to mean a rebuild.
I want to see that thing run a big nasty cam, but I suppose I could tolerate a turbo

LOL, it just needs a good shortblock now, already got the good top end along with a nice nitrous setup, just need about $100 more to finish up the nitrous stuff and $100 to finish up the standalone for the nitrous side. Should be interesting with another 150-200rwhp from where it it is now.

Might want to buy a set of wheelie bars, if it didn't already have them.
That bitch it going to end up on it's hood if you're not careful.

Somehow, I just don't see you keeping 2.80s in there long.

they won't go anywhere until they break, they SUCK at the track, but on the street(where I care more about) they work AMAZING.
