Default Lt1 Silverado 4x4 build

Hey guys I am starting a new build for a customer ....going to be a very mild Lt1 that I am going to transplant into a 92 4x4 silverado. If you have any suggestions from your own experience I would like to hear them. Will keep you guys posted!

Hey talk about some hydrolock huh!... I don't know he's got too pretty of a paint job to get in the mud for the first year or so anyhow..but who knows

I did it before in my 1996 Silverado. Excuse my hair, I was in need of slice em up.






Mod list from when I sold it...

Appearance:
-3" Body lift with bumper brackets
-Front grill painted gloss black to match body (October 2008)
-Billet grill inserts added
-Clear diamond headlights, parking lamps, and corner lenses (October 2008)
-Sylvania Silver Star high and low beam bulbs
-Bushwhacker Extend-A-Fender flares
-Westin chrome step bars
-Fiberglass cowl induction hood
-Bugflector II windshield deflector
-Auto Ventshade wind deflectors on side and back windows

Interior:
-JVC CD player MP3, CD-R, CD-RW with remote
-Brushed aluminum gauge bezel
-Hurst shifter boot
-Mini tach on left side of dash

Engine:
-Rebuilt spring 2008
-Mahle pistons
-Durabond cam bearings
-Clevite main and rod bearings
-Hastings rings
-Victor Reinz (OE) gaskets
-Milodon 7qt oil pan & matching pickup
-Melling high volume oil pump
-Cylinder heads surfaced
-3 angle valve job
-Stainless swirl polished valves
-Valve springs good to .550 lift
-Combustion chambers reworked
-Bowl blending performed
-Combustion chambers and exhaust ports polished
-Minor porting in intake and exhaust runners
-Custom cam by Comp Cams with torque and efficiency in mind
-New OE Delphi lifters

Engine Management:
-Painless LT1 wiring harness
-Factory 1994-1995 LT1 computer custom tuned for engine & application
-NGK TR55 spark plugs new spring 2008
-Taylor Spiro Pro plug wires
-New OE/Delphi optispark distributor spring 2008
-New ignition coil spring 2008
-Electric cooling fans
-New HD radiator spring 2008
-K&N air filter
-Trick Flow ceramic intake elbow
-Throttle body air foil

Transmission:
-Getrag 290 5 speed transmission from 1991 Chevrolet
-Hurst shifter
-New clutch spring 2008
-Flywheel surfaced spring 2008 when clutch was replaced
-New slave and master cylinders spring 2008

Rear Axle:
-GM Corporate 14 bolt 9.5"
-Rebuilt with all new bearings and seals (spring 2008)
-5.13 Motive gears (truck turns 2300rpm at 70mph - PERFECT. Yes, speedometer is calibrated and accurate)
-Detroit TruTrac differntial
-I have $1,400 wrapped up in the rear axle alone

Steering & Suspension:
-Superlift 6" suspension kit
-3/4 ton leaf springs with lift leaf added
-Superlift Steering Stabilizer
-Moog ball joints
-New Superlift shocks all around in spring 2008

Exhaust:
-Doug Thorley Tri-Y nickel plated headers
-Custom stainless piping with cats
-Stainless mufflers with Flowmaster type sound
-Exits concealed beneath trailer hitch

Brakes:
-Front brakes - New calipers, slider pins, pads, and rotors (October 2008)
-Rear brakes - new wheel cylinders and shoes (spring 2008)
-Earl's braided stainless brake lines
-ABS deleted (spring 2008)
-Stainless Steel Brakes Company proportion valve and distribution block (spring 2008)
-SSBC residual pressure valve on rear brakes (spring 2008)

Wheels & Tires: (both new spring 2008)
-Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires 395/70-R16 (38" OD 15.5" SW) $350 EACH!!!
-Eagle Alloys Series 186 wheels 16x10

i see it in jeeps alot but idk how they do with opti getting wet. make some kind of opti guard lol

I like that "Opti-Guard" lol. I could imagine a late night infomercial pitching it too.
