Default Will leaning out make it run hot

At WOT the car temp climbs really fast and boils the coolant. I checked for leaks in the head gaskets and everything pressure checks fine. Plus there is no coolant in the oil. After a few wot I have to shut down for a while to cool off. My injectors are stock operating At 100% duty cycle (I know I know) I know I need to upgrade but wanted to wait a while. Will the car run hot I it's leaning out? Around town it runs fine till I open it up. Mods in sig

Yes running lean will make your temps go up substantially

Check you're coolant temperature sensor and make sure the coolant system has no air. More gas=more heat. That's why EFI cars run richer during a cold start-up to hurry and warm the cat and o2s. However, fuel has a cooling property and assists at high revs in dropping chamber temps. Also, do you have a fan controller, and is that an EWP or just a high flow. If your sensors are good I'd venture to bet your water pump is about to take a crap. And yes, you really need to up your injectors, SVOs are cheap, go for it.
