Will leaning out make it run hot

Will leaning out make it run hot At WOT the car temp climbs really fast and boils the coolant. I checked for leaks in the head gaskets and everything pressure checks fine. Plus there is no coolant in the oil. After a few wot I have to shut down for a while to cool off. My injectors are stock operating At 100% duty cycle (I know I know) I know I need to upgrade but wanted to wait a while. Will the car run hot I it's leaning out? Around town it runs fine till I open it up. Mods in sig
Check you're coolant temperature sensor and make sure the coolant system has no air. More gas=more heat. That's why EFI cars run richer during a cold start-up to hurry and warm the cat and o2s. However, fuel has a cooling property and assists at high revs in dropping chamber temps. Also, do you have a fan controller, and is that an EWP or just a high flow. If your sensors are good I'd venture to bet your water pump is about to take a crap. And yes, you really need to up your injectors, SVOs are cheap, go for it.
